As I wait for airplanes to land and take off at various airports in the USA this year, most airlines ask the military families to board first. When I land in airports in Asia, I pick up my suitcase among the duffle bags of military people from around the world. I was aware of the number of military the USA has but I had not imagined the impact that “Emotional Resilience and the Expat Child: practical storytelling techniques that will strengthen the global family” might have on this group of families.
